Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie, and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, ensure identity verification, and enhance the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. 🔕 Quiet Hours: begin at 10:00 pm per city ordinance. Please be courteous to the neighbors during your stay.
🔥 No Wood-burning: fireplaces or open fires are prohibited due to safety precautions. Please review Colorado wildfire prevention tips and resources to help prevent wildfires and protect our great outdoors.
🐾 NO Dog Policy: This property maintains a no-pet policy for the comfort and convenience of all our guests.
❄️ Type of Cooling for the Home:
2 mini-split AC units are best kept at 68 degrees or above. Due to the lack of humidity in the area, if the thermostat is lowered below 68 degrees, it is possible that it can freeze the unit if it is working too hard. Unfortunately, it will take 24 hours for the unit to defrost before an HVAC specialist can service it. Our evenings are generally cool in the summertime, simply opening the windows will provide extra natural coolness.

🗑️ Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.

Nestled deep in the mountain the location was ideal for a quiet, scenic getaway!! The cabin provided all the anemities to relax and enjoy, hot tub, patio with grill, fire pit, patio heater, and a walking trail. Due to the elevation the days never were above 80 degrees (mid July) and nights dipped into 40-50's. Our family loved seeing the elk, squirrels, deer, birds, and other wildlife. Everything worked as described and the inside was immaculate!! There was ample room for a large family, nine in total never felt cramped. What really made the stay was the small touches the host provided, snacks, drinks, and treats. The Foosball and TV entertainment with surround sound thrilled all!! Practically in the backyard (7 minutes away) is the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument and the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Sanctuary all worth exploring!! I highly recommend taking the time away from the busyness or everyday life and journeying up to Florissant to stay.Show more
