Kaitlyn's place was ideal for what we were in town for, the Labor Day Lift Off Festival happening at Memorial Park! The property was walkable to the park and we could even watch several of the activities from the backyard.
We had 5 adults and 2 kids. This space although it had just enough room for us all to sleep. It was rather tight for us to all hang out. If we were staying any longer than 3 nights, this would have very easily been problematic. We realized this at booking, but prioritized location over size. Just including that info for other folks wanting to gauge their stay. If you have 6 adults and are planning to stay a more than a few nights, know there is really only 1 space to hang out during the day. In the summer, it's too hot to enjoy the back as there is no shade and in the winter it would be too cold until evening when you can have a fire. The AC worked really well! The hosts were really responsive! The 4 stars was for a variety of deferred maintenance at the property.Show more This house was great for our family vacation. Our kids loved the flower theme and the backyard was an added bonus. We enjoyed making s’mores. It was conveniently located close to downtown, which had great restaurants. We would stay here again.Show more This property is a mixed bag. We found the home not well maintained but exceptionally managed. On our first day, we contacted the property manager about a couple issues and she had someone out to address them that same day. She was extremely polite, helpful and accessible. However, the home itself is just not well taken care of. There are stains and peeling wallpaper and a ceiling vent that leaks when it rains. There are clumps of dust (and, I assume, pet hair) under the beds. The backyard is full of weeds and overgrown grass. Like it shows in the pictures, the decor is adorable, but it doesn’t cover the fact that the home needs maintenance.Show more
