The space
River Park Retreat offers a bright, comfortable getaway in the heart of South Main. Natural textures, thoughtful design, and an inviting layout make it the perfect space to relax, gather, and enjoy Buena Vista’s riverfront neighborhood.

The living room feels open and comfortable with soft gray walls with plenty of natural light,. A large sectional and Smart TV make it an inviting place to unwind after a day outdoors. Subtle built-ins and decor bring warmth to the space, while the open layout flows naturally into the dining area for easy gathering. Note: The fireplace is temporarily out of service.
🍽️ Kitchen & Dining
The fully stocked kitchen features marble countertops, bold blue tile accents, and stainless steel appliances. A central island offers extra prep space and casual seating, while the adjoining dining area seats six beneath a woven pendant light, creating a bright and relaxed atmosphere. A complimentary coffee station with pods and a curated spice rack are also included.

🔑 You’ll have private access to the River Park Retreat main house, including the living areas, full kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry, and private patio. The home shares the property with the River Park Studio, located above the detached garage, but each has its own private entrance and no shared interior spaces. Guests traveling with larger groups can inquire about booking both units together, based on availability.

📜 Rental Agreement: For a seamless booking experience, a Rental Agreement is required for all reservations. Once your reservation is confirmed, we’ll provide details for completing the agreement.
🔑 Check-In Process: For a seamless check-in experience, your unique code along with your check-in instructions will be updated into your personalized guidebook on the morning of your arrival. You’ll use this code for entry.
☕ Starter Supply: We’ve prepared a starter supply that includes paper towels, coffee K-cups, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and plush white towels! We hope these amenities add an extra touch of comfort to your stay.
⏰ Unauthorized Late Checkout Fee: $20 Per Half Hour Late
💵 Additional Fees: A mandatory damage waiver or security deposit will be collected after booking. Optional services, including early check-in, late check-out, and additional guests, can be arranged upon request and are subject to availability. These additional fees help cover the cost of reworking the schedule or adding an additional cleaner if needed. Please message us ahead of time for pricing and availability.
🛠️ Maintenance Update: Please note that the dishwasher is currently awaiting repair and is unavailable. All other kitchen appliances are fully functional and ready for guest use.

This place is in a great location, very close to the river, trails, a few restaurants and easily walkable to the main street of town. It was quiet (though there is construction going on across the street so it might be noisier on a weekday) and we didn't hear anything from any of the neighbors. The place is larger than it looks in the photos and although the living room is fairly echo-y it's possible to close the upstairs door and not hear what's going on downstairs. The kitchen has all the basic pots and pans and lots of dishes. There is salt and pepper and a container for oil and balsamic that were empty. The team was very responsive to texts although they didn't appear to know the property very well and there were lots of supplies that were almost empty. When we booked the place the property was listed as having a functional fireplace which when we got there we were told was decorative only. <br/>My kids enjoyed playing at the nearby park and exploring the river. We had a blast staying here. The home is incredibly nice and family friendly. I highly recommend and we hope to be back sometime soon! Melanie

Kaitlyn was so responsive when I texted her. The information for check in/check out was thorough. We checked out a restaurant down the street for dinner and a local bakery the next morning. We would love to stay again! Elizabeth

Beautiful place, we were expecting a pack n play to be in the Airbnb & there wasn’t so immediately after I let Kaitlyn know she sent someone on her team to bring us a pack n play. I thought that was so thoughtful & kind. Definitely would stay here again!
