When we entered the house there was a foul smell, almost like a sewer pipe. The house looked to be a newer house. We enjoyed the welcome music playing on the TV and the items left in the refrigerator for us. The room set up with the towels was a nice touch. Kitchen was fully stocked. We did not get to use the hot tub, as we only stayed there was cut short The biggest concern that we had was the upstairs heat. When we arrived at the house it was 77 degrees downstairs and 87 degrees upstairs (based on our baby monitor). Rental agency seemed unsympathetic with the heat issue the next day and the owner just reminded us about the cancellation policy. So that was very disheartening. We ended up leaving the next day since we were unable to sleep. No reimbursement was given even though we had sent text messages.Show more We enjoyed staying in Kaitlyn's beautiful house, and it met the needs for our large family. The grandchildren enjoyed playing the Pacman arcade game and liked the bunks in their bedroom. The large refrigerator accommodated all our "cold" items. The hot tub and backyard were greatly enjoyed, and the grandchildren had fun walking the paths to the nearby park. Kaitlyn responded quickly to our questions and made us feel welcome. The house was close to the activities we wanted to do in Colorado Springs. We would recommend this house to anyone who wants a great visit to the Springs!Show more
