Communication was terrible though, I never knew who I was talking to and they try to keep communication outside of the Airbnb portal, which means Airbnb can’t use anything said to resolve issues. Even after I requested for them to stop texting me and only respond in the app, I got more texts until I reminded them again that I wouldn’t be communicating outside of the platform. After being locked out of the cottage for 5 hours, we were finally let in and found that maintenance helped themselves to our restroom, but did not leave it how they found it, which we found to be gross.Overall the place was fine, but if you actually have an issue it’s very hard to get resolved. They did let us cancel so we could go to a different airbnb for the rest of our trip which we are grateful for, but still feel like we were overcharged considering we were locked out of the listing for so long.Show more
