We visited Colorado Springs from KY last week. Our family of 5 was comfortable in this adorable house. It was close to attractions we visited including Garden of the Gods and the Colorado Springs zoo. Great outdoor space to relax in the evening. The only real complaint was lack of towels, we ended up buying a few from Walmart to supplement. l

This was our second visit to Bend to attend a concert at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater (an outdoor venue) to hear Mumford and Sons. My wife and I prefer finding cozy, quaint lodgings to stay instead of the often impersonal setting afforded by hotel chains. This private bungalow checked all of our boxes. It was centrally located and is within easy walking distance to grocers, but a car is recommended in order to see sites that are further out. Off-street parking is provided, and a re-charging station is available for those so inclined. Ryan was very attentive to our needs and provided all necessary information for the home as well as suggestions for places to see and eat. The home is well-appointed, and the kitchen has sufficient implements should you wish to cook at home. We elected to make the morning meal but ate out otherwise. We highly recommend Jackalope and Zydeco Kitchen for lunch or dinner. The weather allowed for outside seating, which only enhanced our sumptuous entrees. A supple mattress made for easy sleep at night, and the water pressure for the morning shower was extraordinary. The square footage can easily fit two people, and the house design allows for “alone time” as well. Overall, we were thoroughly pleased to have secured this home for our brief visit. As an aside, a trip to the small town of Sisters will provide stunning vistas of the mountains of North and South Sisters and Mt. Washington and is well worth the 30-minute commute. Kaitlyn was really nice. First issue was my husband got there to check in at 4 and they were still cleaning and wouldn’t let him in. Second, one bed had 2 dirty socks and a tshirt left in it meaning the bedding wasn’t washed and the mattress protector was so dirty (had to wash those). We stayed 8 nights, there were only 4 towels (not good quality either) which was weird and 3 pods for laundry (had to buy more). Almost ran out of dishwasher soap. Under coffee table and couch were so gross like they never move furniture to clean. The utensils were all dirty. This place has potential, but will require whoever owns it to pay a little closer attention to the housekeepers job. I felt safe in the neighborhood though and most places were relatively close. Awesome stay, house had everything needed for our family. Beds were comfortable, portable ac kept the house at a cool temperature. Coffee and laundry pods were nice touches.
