Great stay, the drain in the shower after my first use filled up and took forever to drain ended up needing to use a plunger. It is a basement and you could hear running from above every now and then. Didn’t care for having to pay extra to check in two hours early and having to sign in thru multiple avenues to use WiFi. Other than that great location, no ac for basement so it was kind of cold. Host was responsive at all hours of the day, area was clean beds was nice. They even left snacks for the guests and a couple of good games. Abigail Ann

Kaitlyn was a good host. she was responsive and helpful, so i have nothing bad to say about her. however, the place wasn’t so great. the plumbing in the bathroom was bad, the shower never drained. and when we arrived the bed frame was broken. also the fuses liked to blow out. and since it’s in the basement, the climate control was rough, we stayed in the winter so it was always freezing. i wouldn’t recommend for longer stays, but for a couple days the place would be just fine. First booking I thought his was a great idea, looked very promising & fun for my kids and I. Then first night there it was extremely frustrating due to the fact, she never mentioned anything about not having a oven. So then it went onto only her pots and pans worked on her stove top. Absolutely nothing in the home to let anyone know that it will only work with those types of pans. Then next issue, she sheets weren’t truly clean in the master bedroom. So myself and kids slept on top of the sheets & used my blankets. 3rd and most frustrating… the breaker box kept blowing fuses, this took place at 11:33pm she tried to tell me she reached out to the tenants about me to at least help with the heater. That was a lie, then got a text back saying she can do it herself. Around 1-2am I reached out again about power. She lied said the box was in their unit. Nope I had to knock on their door before she spoke to them. To find out it was outside like I thought. It blew fuses twice. Not okay. Zackariah

I stayed here for nearly 2 months while relocating with my family of 5. It’s cheaper than a hotel and you got more room so for the nature of our stay it was 5 stars better than the alternative; However, the main house and the renovated basement are 2 separate Air BnB’s. They are on the same breaker and the power tends to go out a lot, and there is a lot of foot traffic naturally. It felt like we were staying in a downstairs apartment with a new neighbor every couple days, and the neighbors kept getting louder. Fillmore is the Main Street next to the Air BnB, it’s where the gas stations and all the food is and it’s also home to an enormous population of homeless folks. We also had issues with the first housekeepers, they didn’t speak any English and would walk right in to our Air BnB. They also took our mail one time and we never saw them again. Kaitlyn is a trooper and responds within 5 minutes at any time of day or night and will fix any problem that she can! 5 star host, 5 star price
