While this rental was close to many activities and had a good fenced backyard for the dogs, there were several reasons why it wasn’t our favorite place to stay. The house is on a pretty busy street which resulted in a ton of noise. Additionally, the main house above (we stayed in the basement which is separate) has no insulation so we could hear the guest’s conversations in great detail even though they were speaking in a normal speaking tone. This led to little privacy and was a bit annoying when trying to relax or take a mid day nap. Like other reviews stated, being a jacket because the rental is kept very cold with no access to the temperature controls. There is a space heater but it smelled like burning plastic when turned on. Lastly, we did not realize upon initial booking (my fault for not reading far enough down in listing) that each dog costs an additional $100. This is pretty far down in the listing and in my opinion, is pricy for a dog who caused no damage or disturbance.Show more
