The space
Hacienda Chiquita! is a cozy, private basement apartment designed for comfort and simplicity. With warm wood finishes, soft lighting, and modern touches, it’s the perfect retreat for couples or small families exploring Buena Vista’s South Main neighborhood and nearby Arkansas River.

The living area feels relaxed and welcoming, featuring a bright leather sofa that converts into a queen sleeper, a Smart TV for movie nights, and a small dining bar for casual meals or morning coffee. Simple décor and warm lighting create a comfortable space to unwind after a day of adventure.

Compact yet well-equipped, the kitchen includes a stovetop, toaster oven, refrigerator, and open shelving with dishes and glassware. A coffee maker with complimentary coffee and a small spice rack are included to make mornings easy and flavorful.

🔑 You’ll have full access to the entire basement suite, including the living area, kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom, and laundry. This is a private unit with its own exterior entrance and no shared spaces. While the Hacienda Mosaic home sits above, it’s rented separately, so you’ll enjoy complete comfort and privacy during your stay.

📜 Rental Agreement: For a seamless booking experience, a Rental Agreement is required for all reservations. Once your reservation is confirmed, we’ll provide details for completing the agreement.
🔑 Check-In Process: For a seamless check-in experience, your unique code along with your check-in instructions will be updated into your personalized guidebook on the morning of your arrival. You’ll use this code for entry.
☕ Starter Supply: We’ve prepared a starter supply that includes paper towels, coffee K-cups, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and plush white towels! We hope these amenities add an extra touch of comfort to your stay.
⏰ Unauthorized Late Checkout Fee: $20 Per Half Hour Late
💵 Additional Fees: A mandatory damage waiver or security deposit will be collected after booking. The unit was as described, clean and functional. We booked last minute and they accommodated us, though we spent much of the time during our stay communicating with the host for things like towels, heat issues, and the space lacked a few basic amenities I have come to expect from any stay like tissues, hot cups/mugs, and a standard coffee maker (they had a Keurig but didn’t offer pods). <br/>The company that manages the rental requires you to log into a separate system from AirBnB and provide your credit card info again just to get your check in information. I found this to be frustrating navigating between the AirBnB platform and introducing a new, unfamiliar site, and moving resolution for things like incidentals outside of the AirBnB platform. Worth noting before you book. <br/>We love that area and enjoyed the location, but as this seems like a newer listing, they have a few kinks to workout. Overall it’s a safe and clean place to stay with responsive hosts. This place was exactly the same as shown in the photos - clean & modern. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend to others.
