The cabin and its location are lovely! The view from the deck is breathtaking. We had early morning visits from deer and hummingbirds. It is remote, so having a car is a must. Check in was simple. There were some staple items, but we were easily able to get what we needed at the grocery store in Divide. Overall it was a great stay.
There were some minor issues that despite our repeated requests were not addressed/resolved. One of the doors would not lock, the coffee maker stopped working on day 2, and we could never locate the switch for the deck lights. It's likely the text responses were AI generated and conveyed the issues were being addressed, but they never were. Again, these did not keep us from enjoying the mountains, but it was a bit disconcerting returning to the cabin each evening to find the lock had not been repaired.Show more Gorgeous house and perfect location and views. Of note, there is no cell service once you are outside of town which can make following the map difficult. We tried to verify the location via text to the phone number provided and got an automated response from the management company, which was not helpful and cost us an hour of driving around. We also had problems with the wifi once at the house, and had no way to reach out for help. The house is also on a water tank, so you have to be careful about usage. It is a really lovely location and thoughtfully designed home. I would recommend, but need to be prepared for the remote location and issues that come with it.Show more The place was great!
