Great location and nice property! You can walk to the park and downtown shops very easily. Communication was excellent . As other reviews have stated you can hear everything from upstairs including when someone’s tea was ready and toilets flushing. Luckily we were not spending too much time in the property. The bed is not super comfortable and is very squeaky. Overall it was a great stay for us given our purpose in town.Show more The Good: Despite being a basement apartment, this space gets an amazing amount of light through the windows. It felt bright and bigger than its actual dimensions. The bed was comfortable and firm. The kitchen was well stocked. There was ample hot water. The place is situated between the E Main and S Main business areas so that walking to either is a mere minutes affair. On street parking was readily available.
The Meh: The shower water pressure was abysmal. Not sure if that's a supply issue or water saving fixtures. There was only one key available, requiring coordination between multiple renters. A keypad would be far more convenient.
The Bad: This place is managed through Renjoy. Renting through AirBNB is supposed to provide cover for both property owners and renters. Renjoy forces the renter off the AirBNB platform, voiding most of the protections afforded by using AirBNB in the first place. You also repeatedly need to remember to uncheck the boxes allowing marketing emails/SMS.Show more This was a cozy and chic place to stay in. Definitely a repeat. It is close to main street for shops and dining but also close to the courts and trails. This is a basement. This was great for us because it made it cooler for our summer stay. The ceilings are high so it doesn’t feel like a basement. You might also hear your neighbors upstairs.
